Premium Pet Food Fiber without the Premium Price Tag

It’s no big secret that pet owners are becoming better educated about their pet’s nutritional needs. These well-educated pet parents are changing the way manufacturers market and formulate their brands.

Consumers are demanding holistic, natural and higher quality foods but it doesn’t just stop there. Pet owners also want ingredients that are sourced and manufactured in the USA plus, grain-free and non-GMO foods. In short -they want the same premium foods for their pets as they buy for themselves.

Although, the FDA and Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) do not specifically define “premium,” consumer demands seem to clearly pinpoint what they believe to be premium pet foods and these demands seem to continually progress.

To produce a premium product, manufacturers must adjust to the nutritional awareness of pet owners.
At MFiber, we are already meeting the demands of consumers and providing a premium ingredient without the premium price tag.

5 reasons MFiber is the premium pet food fiber source on the market.

U.S. Grown: When it comes to providing a premium ingredient, we start in the field. What makes us different is that we work directly with local farmers in the Midwestern United States to grow our Miscanthus. Plus, we have dedicated employees who oversee the crop production and offer support to the farmers, which ensures we harvest a high-quality and consistent crop, year-after-year.

Sustainability: While many crops are very sensitive to the environment and soil conditions, Miscanthus is very tolerant of less than ideal conditions, including drought. Miscanthus is a perennial crop, which means we only plant the rhizomes once but reap a harvest for years to come. Miscanthus has low nutrient input and minimal nutrient removal plus it’s carbon negative. The nutrients that move back into the soil during the growing cycle are used by the plant next year.

Manufactured in the USA: Once the crop is harvested it is delivered to our manufacturing facility in Aurora, Mo., where it undergoes a proprietary process.  By manufacturing in the Midwest we are able to keep costs low for our customers and create jobs in rural America.

All-Natural: MFiber is 100 percent all-natural Miscanthus. No chemicals, additives or preservatives are used during the production process.

Non-GMO and Grain-Free:  Unlike some of our leading fiber competitors, MFiber is never grown using GMO crops and it is a grain free product.
