About two-thirds of U.S. households own pets, so it’s no surprise that April 11^th has been declared as National Pet Day.

At MFiber, every day is National Pet Day. We love pets and we want them to get the best nutrition possible so they live long and happy lives.

One way we provide a safe and reliable fiber ingredient is bypartnering with local farmers. We work one-on-one, with farmers in the Midwest to plant, grow and harvest Miscanthus. By developing our production model around farmers we are able to sell a product that is packed full of integrity,which we know is important to pet food consumers.  

This unique model allows us to trace our product all the way back to the field in which it was grown. Consumers are demanding products they feel are safe to feed their pets and by providing a product that is 100 percent traceable, we are meeting consumer demands.  

MFiber is also safe for the environment and conservation friendly.  Miscanthus requires low nutrient inputs and has low nutrient removal whenharvested because the plant moves all the nutrients it needs to grow back next year into the ground during the winter.

Plus, Miscanthus is a carbon negative crop, which is one of the biggest ways we contribute to environmental safety. Being Carbon negative is the complete opposite of carbon dioxide emissions. Unlike many other crops, Miscanthus removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere leaving a negative carbon footprint.  

In addition, our pet food fiber ingredient is all-natural and non-GMO, providing consumers with the highest level of safety possible.
